Assuming you already have your Mac connected to an Ethernet LAN, the
easiest way I have found, and the one I use, is to FTP back and forth
using Ethernet, and my own SAFE2 FTP software.

To do this, you wil need an Ethernet card, of which the Uthernet card is
the most popular, a copy of Marinetti, the Uthernet Link Layer for
Marinetti, and SAFE2.

Except for the Uthernet card, these are all freeware. The advantage of
such a setup, is that not only can you transfer stuff from your OSX Mac,
but you also have full access to the Internet, so you can FTP from sites
such as Asimov and GNO, Telnet, surf, and do many other things direct
from your IIgs.
