AppleWin is usually very accurate, but it may of course
have problems with some titles. However, the older SSI
games are usually not that advanced, technically, to give
problems. Most of them are written in BASIC (or
compiled BASIC) with machine code subroutines - no fancy
stuff that only works on certain Apple II models.
Therefore I suspect that your problems may result from
a non optimal disk image. The only images I've seen
for this game are .NIB images which should work but have
limits on what you can do with them.
Where exactly do you have problems? Right at the start or
somewhere in a scenario?
