Re: Getting files from a IIGS to a Mac OS X Mac (G5)... how can you do it?
Unless you're putting files on an IDE device you can swap between
the //gs and the mac (say, a flashcard), the only other option I can
think of is locating an ethernet card for the //gs. That might be
cost prohibitive though, so a null modem cable and a terminal program
that supports z-model or y-modem batch would be your next best option.
If you're wanting to do rapid prototyping and sending binaries to
the //gs for testing, you might want to borrow some of the bootloader
stuff in either ADT Pro or Apple game server to dump a binary into ram
and execute it. ADT is probably a much better route, as the game
server only works with a super serial card or a //c. (that being my
fault, sorry!! :-} )
Dragon looks really cool! I like the cave graphics, but why are wall
collisions fatal? Must be a tricky game!
