Re: BBS software - ACOS / MACOS?

A2aviator,

So if I understand correctly, Kevin Smallwood owns the rights to GBBS and ACOS, but you own the rights to MACOS and METAL. Is this correct?

Kevin, so what are your plans with ACOS and GBBS? Are you considering opening it up, selling it, or nothing at all?

I agree with A2aviatior, there probably isn't enough money to justify
any significant effort, but if it were opened up, we could all chip in

Thats what I had, sadly, intended to do with METAL and the MACOS
segments, if the pipedream I had to one day have ACOS as well ever
came to be. Just make it all available. In the several times I'd
talked to Steve I never mentioned it. Since MACOS had quite a
following and is sorta the ultimate GBBS 'MOD'. In looking back, it
could have been made more like a Timeout Series AppleWorks module
where it was an installer and took an installed ACOS setup to create
itself - in so much as even burying the main part encoded and having
to get something out of the other in order to activate itself.

... such is life.
