Sorry for the delay in responding. I was out of town (nothing as sexy
as KFEST)
I found the disk images and was able to make the disk images. Also
found a COBOL compiler although I'm not sure what I'm going to do with
it but that isn't the point. Thanks for the reference.
So last weekend my neighbor two doors down asks me to help go through
a bunch of old computer stuff he got from his father's house. Seems
that they kept most of the stuff he used as a kid to run a bbs. Long
story short in the last box is a ms z-80 board. He said he remembered
it from years ago but it never fit anything. I picked up the board and
said follow me. We came back here, I poped off the top of the Apple,
inserted the board, inserted the disk, and 56k cp/m popped up on the
screen. I can't repeat what he said.
Since then I have added dBase II and WordStar to the mix of 5-1/4"
disks This is fun again.
