I have tested the IIgs with the XRGB2+ and many 15.75khz RGB capable
monitors and it works fine, this upscan converter should work fine as
well. The reference to CGA in the product's name is about the input
scanrate (CGA/TTL RGB uses 15.75khz monitors), not that it is TTL only.
This issue has been investigated before on numerous occasions (even
using the converters you mention), usually with sub-satisfactory
results. See this site:

There are many out there wanting a solution to replace their old IIgs
RGB monitors, so if you've found a workable solution and can produce the
proof, please do! I know myself and many others would be incredibly
interested if an off-the-shelf solution exists that produces *good*
results - i.e. somewhere in between "OK" and "perfect"; ideally more
towards the "perfect" end. :-)
