Hi,
I am very surprise that anything I have done in disk image of
ActiveGS, seems to be persistent. For example, if I change something
(eg, location of icons), once I reboot the disk image, the changes
remains there.
Furthermore, when I use it in Firefox, makes a change, then start the
same disk image in IE, the changes remains!
My question is - does it just affect the local copy, or does it also
change the server copy of disk image? For example, I just change the
Welcome text file and added some text "- now live on ActiveGS!", does
other people see it too or is it just me? And is Firefox and IE share
the same copy of the local disk image?
PS: if only my copy is changed but it does not affect the remote copy,
then it makes a very nice distribution model and allows people to
learn programming remotely.
