I know the guy who has written them quite well (sic):
- ThirdView is a 100% program which supported the same graphic file
formats as Convert 3200 but in no way it was capable of displaying
JPEG pictures.
- I once have rewritten JVPreRelease, a Japanese software, and reached
a 30% increase in unpacking. One version had the ability to display
JPEG pictures in colors but I have lost that version the same day as
my complete GS/OS 6.0.1 disassembly :-(
- The Return of Cogito was quite easy to write as the game logic
remained the same. Only the graphic routines had been rewritten with
an off-screen buffer and a table which contains flags for each line
needed to be drawn on the VGA memory of the Second Sight.
Both are still downloadable from http://www.brutal-deluxe.net/

...which displays only greyscale pictures ;-)
