Is this a Mac, PC or GS application?
It is a GS application that writes .dsk images back to real 5.25"
floppies. I don't think it works with any other kind of image (i.e. it
won't work with 3.5" floppy images, or hard disk images). If I am wrong
about this, I'm sure someone will correct me. :-)

I've never used it so I can't comment any further.
Now I can't remember for sure. I know what Asimov DEFINITELY does is that it can convert 800k 2images to real double density 3.5" disks and back again. Not sure about support for .dsk and 5.25".

Actually it supports ALL storage types (e.g. 3.5 and 5.25 floppies,
hardisks, RAM Disk, even non-ProDOS/DOS volumes). And it works
in both directions, creating disk images and re-creating the real disk.

Rather than say more, here's a review I wrote for A2Central back 8 years ago explaining everything it does and where to find it:

I stand corrected. It just goes to show you shouldn't comment on things you've never tried. ;-)

It actually sounds like a great program. I might have to give it a try. I had never tried it previously because of my former ill-founded belief that it didn't work with 800Kb images.

Thanks for the low-down Mitchell. :-)
