Summary - Re: eBay Keywords for Gatrobox or Equivalent?

I have ROM01 with 2mb RAM, 2 floppy drives, and a ROM3 IIGS with 5mb
RAM and a CFFA card. I intend to run System 601 on both. I don't have
a classic Mac handy, although I might be able to get my MacTV out of
storage (probably not). I have ethernet in some places with a wireless
bridge and some wireless bridge clients where needed.

I don't want to install Marinetti, just let the IIGS think it's doing
pure AppleTalk to write files.

There is no need to get onto the internet from the //GS machines, they
just need to write arbitrary text files to a "network block device", a
share on my Windows Host running Services for Mac server.

So what I need to do to write files from the IIGSes is

Option 1 -
Buy Juiced.GS back issues for 2005 to get the IIGS<->Gatorbox
article
Get a Gatorbox CS (model 10101) for each IIGS
Get a classic Mac to configure each Gatorbox
       (IP number, AppleTalk zone, etc)
Connect the Gatorbox to each IIGS
Connect the Gatorbox's ethernet to my Netgear
wireless thing to connect to the wireless bridge
to get to other LAN resources.

Option 2 -
Do the same as (1) but use a Shiva
FastPath 5 instead of the Gatorbox

Option 3 -
Get a Farallon Etherwave "Powerbook adapter" to connect each
IIGS.
Get a classic Mac to configure the Etherwaves
Keep the Etherwaves connected to the wired ethernet hub to
talk to the server.

Option 4 -
Do the same as (3) but use an AsanteTalk
       Localtalk to Ethernet Converter

Comments welcome.

Thanks.
