One can easily look at the feature list of SIS to see that it is better than
Lynx: WYSIWYG (the G in a GS)
RFC 2396 compliancy (atleast compared to the 1998 version)
renders some table elements
inbuilt telnet
inbuilt file manager
inbuilt email client
bookmark editor
audio sounds and speech (the S in a GS)
most importantly: look and feel of a GS desktop application
SIS's page renderer hasn't changed in about 10 years, but neither has Lynx's.
