Considering the Firefox 2 application without plugins, resources, extensions, 
dictionaries, etc. is 7.4 megs, a 4 meg GS is out of the question.

The better question to ask is what the performance of Gecko on a IIgs to 
determine the rendering performance?  I think you can get decent results on a 
fast enough emulated GS (especially when you can get 14 megs of RAM).  Of 
course, a better C compiler is needed for the GS to ease the testing.
