Re: GS/OS Question

I am slowly getting my IIGS system up and operational and relearning a
lot of things I used to know. System is now set up with a Ramfast and 8
32 meg partitions on a LaCie Tsunami SCSI drive. Using System 6.0.1.
One thing that is puzzling me is that if I try to launch a game or
application on other than the boot partition, I get a dialogue box
"Please insert the disk DELTA" (where DELTA is the name of the
partition... ALPHA is the boot partition) Choices are 'OK' (which fails)
and 'ESC'.
This (obviously) sounds like a conflict when reading the partition.
GS/OS knows the partition exists but can't actually read it or the data
it requests from it. Because it can't read it, GS/OS is requesting the
user to place the disk online. It's been a while since I've worked with
SCSI opting instead for the Focus drive and later the CFFA so I recall
very little regards fixing the problem.
Possibly a DMA conflict but it seems that would affect any access to the
card. Then again, maybe not.
Are all the other partitions accessible and are they P8 and GS/OS
read/write verified by other software such as a utility? Perhaps ProSEL
16, Copy2Plus or the Apple Utilities.
