GS/OS Question

I am slowly getting my IIGS system up and operational and relearning a 
lot of things I used to know.  System is now set up with a Ramfast and 8 
 32 meg partitions on a LaCie Tsunami SCSI drive.  Using System 6.0.1.

One thing that is puzzling me is that if I try to launch a game or 
application on other than the boot partition, I get a dialogue box 
"Please insert the disk DELTA" (where DELTA is the name of the 
partition... ALPHA is the boot partition) Choices are 'OK' (which fails) 
and 'ESC'.

I don't remember this happening before, and I can't think of how to get 
around it.

Please help me relearn GS/OS!
