The fact that the IIgs will do 115kbits/sec with Appletalk suggests
that with some driver work it would do 115kbits/sec with RS-422/RS-232
as well.
Appletalk actually runs in synchronous mode at a rate of 230,400 bps.
The ADT guys apparently have both the Super Serial Card and the IIgs
Serial Port running in asynchronous mode at 115,200 bps but I haven't
tried that yet.
