I just connected the "new" GS to 2 TV - one 14" CRT and one 21" LCD,
via the yellow cable. What I get is very surprising, and the same for
both TV.

When boot up, I got monochrome (black and white) screen. Even if the
control panel has been set to color, etc. The text is crisp and clear,
even in 80 column mode.

But the moment you key in HGR (Apple II mode) in Basic, the color is
back, and the same NTSC color. The color of borders set in control
panel are all there - gorgeous colors!

I have tried 50Hz and 60Hz, result the same.

I am wondering whether I can force the IIGS to be in color.
