So what you're saying is that when you watch a movie you may come to a
point in the movie where you don't like the directors choices and just
skip through it. I'd also imagine then that when you read a book
you'll skip pages in it that you find boring. Same thing must got for
music then. So basically what you're saying is that you, as the end
user, know better than the director, writer, musician or game
designer.

I prefer Michael's idea that when appropriate the emulator/real
hardware slows down to display the video correctly, or play the sound
the way it was intended instead of just running like a jack rabbit
through the whole thing. Fast forwarding through a game is not playing
it the way the designer intended.
