I think the key (no pun intended) here is the amount of the stuff you
use. You'll note that I call for a teeny tiny little spray of the
stuff and then let capillary action do its thing. I too have seen
fouled contacts resulting from various sprays, and my opinion is that
it is a result of people spraying switches to Kingdom Come.

With Tuner Cleaner, a little goes a long way, and that's all that's
needed in my experience.
