about 100 pages of assembly code isn't my cup of tea...  I have done
it, but it's much more fun to invent 100 pages in your head and then
type them in as you go.  Looking at a magazine/PDF/etc and typing
in that much code will kill my interest in the project.



currently.  It's not like the program will work right the first few
times it gets through the compiler, it's still going to have to be debugged.



Here is the method I've used in the past:

OCR, quick proof read, run it through the compiler.

keep a list of compiler errors with line numbers

go back to the editor in the assembler, start correcting
errors.

And keep in mind that some of the errors will not be flagged
by the compiler, but *will* change the meaning of the program.

This is particularly a problem in languages which do not require
all names to be declared--like Applesoft.
