Help me identify this card. 128K ram card from 1982???
This was in a box of a bunch of other Apple II stuff I got from a
school. I have been able to identify everything else, but this one
stumps me.
What I know:
1. It fits a standard Apple II slot.
2. It looks like a IIGS ram expansion card (same approximate size),
but has an Apple II slot interface
3. Manufacturer is "Vergecourt LTD" and model appears to be RAMEX 128
4. Date silkscreened on the card is 1982, making this pre IIe.
5. It has 16 MCM 6665AL-20 (Gold label in pic) and 17 other (black in
pic) ICs on it. The black chips are from no less than 5 different
manufacturers, but look to be the same chip- similar part #'s on
each.
Based on the REMEX 128 designation, I thought this was a 128k
expansion card, but I thought the II and II+ could only use 64K?
