First, the original poster is using the term "GSOS" wrong.  GS/OS is the
operating system but what they are referring to is the Finder.



Other than those suggestions I can recall no patches that would fix the
"problem".  The reason Finder draws them that way has to do with the way
it saves the list of open windows and their positions and then the way
it processes that saved list.  Patching it is possible but would
probably require a fair amount of effort on someone's part.
Thanks for those references to those other apps. In all my digging, I'd not even heard of them. I guess that's what I get for coming to the GS party a bit late (grin).
