Even More Basic Marinetti Help Wanted: What's step 1?

All,

OK, all this talk about Marinetti has reminded me that I have to set
it up. But..

I need to know what "Step 1" is.

I've checked out http://www.apple2.org/marinetti/ and see that
there's:

Marinetti3.0b1.SHK This is the first release of Marinetti by the
Marinetti Open Source Project. This is beta software but it has proven
to be stable. If you want to use any of the files above then you will
need this.
Includes the first public release of the MacIP link layer and the PPP
link layers that support the CHAP authentication protocol.

and there's also:

TCPIP30b3.SHK This is the second release of Marinetti by the
Marinetti Open Source Project. This is beta software but it should be
considered stable. If you want to use this then you will also need
Marinetti3.0b1.SHK below.

I know there's also stuff on Sourceforge, but should I assume that the
files listed above are what I really need?

Do I install Marinetti3.0b1.SHK and then configure it and use it, and
then upgrade with TCPIP30b3.SHK? Or do I install Marinetti3.0b1.SHK
and then jump right into the TCPIP30b3.SHK upgrade and then configure
it for the first time?

Or is there some other procedure? Or are there better files to use
somewhere?

I assume Marinetti works just fine with Uthernet cards? Are there
special driver files I need to locate to make the card work with
Marinetti?

When answering, assume I have lots of TCP/IP knowledge (because I do),
a LAN behind a hardware firewall, an accelerated ROM3 GS with a CFFA
and lots of RAM and an Uthernet card, GS/OS 6.01 working great but
with almost no extensions, and a painless method to get SHK files
uncompressed and working on the GS via SuperDrives and CiderPress.

Thanks for the pointers,
Warr
