The cards themselves will work in either, but the data on the cards cannot be accessed except using the same controller.
I know the 32 Meg partitions seem compatible, but I only have a Microdrive so I don't know if the whole cards can be plugged into the other type of board.
If there's a partition table stored on the card by the Microdrive, then all of its partitions are displaced by the length of that table, and the CFFA will not see them correctly. -michael NadaPong: Network game demo for Apple II computers!
