I believe I know what you mean. I also played with C112 and found an
acceptable setting - especially compared with other
systems (C64 and Ataris come to mind which can have some
horrific quality issues).
On the other hand I compared two NTSC IIe mainboards and
one "International NTSC" (converted to "US NTSC") and got
slightly different video output - color and contrast were notably
different, as was the "sharpness" of the picture.
Those differences were minimal, however, compared to the
video output of a PAL IIe.
