Do you still get the lock ups when you disconnect the Appletalk
connection? Or have you definately narrowed it down to an Appletalk
related issue?

I *think* the latest GNO version is 2.06 (from memory) which was
released in '98 or '99 I think. If I replace the 2.06 kernel with a
2.04 kernel things seem to work properly. Rather strange... Anyway, I
best not stray from the original topic too much. I'll post in another
thread if I continue to see this strange behaviour.
