I had so much stuff installed on my version of AW3 as well that I did
not know what came with the original disks. So I got out my original
AW3 and it found the extra memory no problem with RamWorks III also.
The appleworks expander disks I have also give these extra options.
- increased DB Records
- increased WP lines
- save a file across multiple disk drives
- optional print buffer
- optional clock display
Once installed, to get to this control panel you have to hold down
option-apple during startup of Appleworks.
On the note of copying AppleWorks to a RAM disk, I have 4 Ramfactor
cards on different computers that I would like to get the Ramkeeper
power pack for them. Does anyone have a Ramkeeper for sale or at
least can give me the voltages for the pinouts?
