Ok, so what could be wrong with my config?

What do you mean by "variable speed" floppy drive hardware? Would my
usb external drive work? To clear confusion it runs OSX 3.??, I just
have to get a power cord (it had one of the faulty ones.

I've got a clock running... I'm recieveing block 845 and its at
6:45.... that's not normal is it?
