Well, I have to say that was a great deduction.
My Apple II has Applesoft ROMs not integer ROMS, and I have a spare
non working Apple II+ board. I swapped out the ROMs from the non
working board one by one, testing as I went. Three ROMs into the
process, the Apple II booted perfectly.
So the 0013 ROM was bad. Not sure why, or for what reason, but I guess
these things just happen.
I've fixed this machine a few times now (replacing chips each time),
and thanks to Linards, this was the easiest fix of them all. BIG
thanks.
