I actually made a cable like that recently out of some UTP I had. Trouble is
something is being a bit odd. They can see each other just fine and I can
access Mac shares on the IIgs, but I'm not sure about the integrity of the
data. I'll be looking into that a bit more. Last time I tried it I was
using an AppleTalk System5 bootdisk. I now have System 6.0.1 on harddrive.
The result may well be better.

Thanks for the tip on it working like a nullmodem too. I suspected because
of my horrible LocalTalk <-> RS232 <-> Localtalk mess I was using until I
made the cable. I wasn't sure though.
