Re: Toolbox Guide for Dummies
Thye Chean,
I guarantee your site will be a welcome help to at least me. When I
first got a home computer, back in the dark ages of 1980 (TRS-80), I
started playing with learning BASIC. Then a year later I got an Apple
II+ and and eventually a IIe and IIc. Besides the books from Apple on
Applesoft I bought a few others on programming the Apple but
eventually decided it was easier to just buy, or copy from friends,
the programs I wanted.
In the late 90's and I moved from the Apple II world into the Mac and
seeing nothing equivalent to BASIC didn't even bother to think about
learning to program the Mac.
Fast forward to now, having just gotten back into the Apple II world
I'm once again toying with the idea of learning how to write my own
programs. If I'm lucky I might still have one or two of the other
books on Apple soft BASIC that I bought years ago. I may not actually
do anything but a site like yours is a blessing to someone like me.
