It seems to be my TransWarp.  I have another un-sped up IIgs.  I
transplanted the the adapter over there, and it works fine.  (I had
clipped the NC pin during assembly.)  So I have three known good
adapters now.  I just can't get one to work in the TransWarp'd
machine, now matter how I slow it down!
