Hi, guys.

   Michael, do observe, this is not a digital sampling device but an
analog converter.  I myself have an RGB->YPbPr converter... purely
analog.. which works perfectly.. and does NOT produce the banding Rob
is experiencing.  I think it's likely his converter is lower grade
than mine, even though more expensive.

  Mine's a Keene Electronics Aptus 1.

  Rob, what chip is your device using?  Is it the Analog Devices
AD725?
