I know this is a stupid question, but I just got a Kensington System

tomount it to my system. Could someone lead the blind? :)

Thanks - Josh

Never mind the stupid question! The guy I bought it from put the
mounting plate on upside down! Duh, I feel like such an idiot! :)
Thanks anyway!

The mounting plate? I don't remember any kind of assembly being necessary (or even meaningfully possible) when I bought mine. Granted it was more than 20 years ago, but I thought it was: Take out out of the box, clip it into the side vents, move around the power cords.

That's how the original System Savers worked--a one-piece plastic
cover that had two "fingers" that went into side slots of the
Apple case--no "mounting plate". (The fingers were also a common
point of failure...)
