Hi Bill,
   Though I'm not sure, I would imagine the Apple I video circuitry to
be more similar to the Apple II early rev (0,1,3,5) mobos since
they're less complicated.  The rev 7 and up mobos are slightly more
complex to change a number of video timings and other things.
