Mm. I don't need more of either. I seem to recall someone had success
recently with an AsanteTalk bridge. It's expired from my cache, sorry. But
that seems to be the cheapest means of achieving filesharing. Currently I
find shuffling files to/from my Apples to be maddening. Emulators are
usually useless for me too because most of the things I need to copy over
are experimental drivers for homebrew hardware.

I applaud all the clever mechanisms for transferring data between the Apple 2 series machines and the modern world. However, when all is said and done Appletalk networking is the fastest and most convenient.

Setting up netatalk on Linux should not be a huge ordeal anymore since I posted some patches and packages at the a2 group mail account. Anyone who wants to mirror these is welcome to.
