Re: Help: my II is freaking out...
Problem Fixed.
I took all the IC's out and cleaned all the legs. Great to get rid of
all that black gunge on some of the IC's. Unfortunately that didn't
help. However, When I was cleaning the legs on the Character ROM, I
noticed one of the holes on the socked didn't seem to have any metal
conector inside!!! I poked around with a pin and it seemed as if the
metal part had been pushed to one side at some point in it's history.
I poked and bent it back into shape and everything works fine now.
Thanks again
Phil
