It can be used to capture and log analog data and to produce a programmable voltage. You could use it to simulate a strip chart recorder with your Apple II. I forget how fast the A/D converter is, but it's probably fast enough to sample sound (11kHz) in a suitable loop. -michael NadaNet file server for Apple II computers!
