I also collect TRS-80 stuff and we had a big loss in that our main archive of software and documents was closed by the owner a few months back. Because this archive was so dominating there are not many other archives, so be happy for what you have and that asimov isn't the only archive. It was probably a loss to the Apple2 crowd too as manyIra's site was a significant asset to TRS-80 collectors. I wish there was a DVD image of the site.
One DVD wouldn't be enough, with all the pdf's. Most of the software is available through tosec and some alternatives have appeared but most of the pdf's are gone.
From what I have heard it was DVD's made from the archive sold on eBay for profit that triggered the close. I can imagine that to the copyright holders it is a very different matter if someone makes money off the archive rather than it being a free non profit thing. But I can imagine also that it was just the last drop. You know you could get DVD's from him too. A donation to the site was expected to cover the cost but it was strictly non profit. Such DVD's exist so the arcive can be pieced together again.
Also, on topic: Thanks Antoine, did get the files from your site. -- Knut (delete 'nogarbage.' for email)
