Polymorph,
I took your advice and did a COMPLETE read thru of the docs for
LemminGS and it looks like you're right, my system doesn't have enough
memory to run the game. It requires 700k of FREE memory to run. So now
I've got two alternatives:
1) Keep a sharp eye out on Ebay, and maybe other places, to see if I
can find a 4MB memory card for my GS (hopefully at a reasonable
price).
or
2) Replace the ROM 01 motherboard in my GS with the ROM 03 motherboard
I bought before I got the GS (I had been hoping to get a ROM 01
motherboard so I could do brain surgery on my //e), and then, of
course, take the memory card from the ROM 01, upgrade it to 1MB since
it's only at 512k right now, and put it in the GS so I'll have a total
of 2MB of memory.
Any suggestions as to which might be easier?
Thanks,
Dean
