what can run on a plain 48k Apple2 europlus

Hi

I recently acquired an europlus. I have been putting it back into shape and it seems to work now but...:

I had to change one IC in the keyboard card and one RAM was bad.

It now passes the 48k RAM test in APTEST
It boots DOS3.3 fine also ESDOS but not most games.

It fails to boot wizardry I (neither the cracked version from the net nor the real original disk. This is so also for some other 48k games I tried for example FS2.

Beautiful Boot by Mini Appler fails in a strange way. The initial screen is ok but as the colored dots fall the screen is filled in with this pattern. The dots continue to fall through the pattern. It doesn't display the list of files and pressing A etc. won't do anything.

Is there still something wrong with it? The Wizardry I disk should run on a 48k Apple II according to the box etc. I also have an Apple IIe with which I have created the disks (except the original wizardry disk).

I don't have a language card yet but I think that is the first thing I will get if I'm satisfied it otherwise works perfectly. For the moment there is only the diskII card it came with and of course all the RAM sockets are filled.
