Michael, William thanks!

I did download that version and will transfer over it to see what 
happens.  I'm not optimistic, though, given that the POKE  48984 with 
a192 didn't work and I had copied a Choplifter onto a 3.5" disk already.  
But I'll try it again... I know from experience that one small change in 
procedure can produce results!
