Unfortunately when I unpacked the apple and plugged it in, it seemed

keypresses made no difference, nor did pressing reset (alone or in
combination with other keys)
Does it beep when turned on ?
Does it stop looping while holding down control-reset ?
If it does stop, the CPU/RAM/ROM aren't working properly, but the rest
of the system most likely is.
If it doesn't the CPU don't even gained control of the address/data
buses, meaning something else is wrong, not necessarily the CPU/RAM/
ROM.
Is there any card plugged in ?
The voltages seem to be ok, I think.
