Where are you getting the 0.25MB from? AFAIK a ROM01 m/b has 128KB of
fast RAM and 128KB of slow RAM giving 256KB total. A ROM03 on the
other hand has 1MB of fast RAM plus the 128KB of slow RAM. This gives
the following memory sizes (using 1MB and 4M expansion cards):

MB revision | bare  +1MB  +4MB
ROM00/01       | 256KB  1.25MB 4.25MB
ROM03          | 1.125MB 2.125MB 5.125MB
