I've got a couple "stock" DOS 3.3-based MECC disk images (as opposed to

this is possible and how - might make imaging easier - is there a way to
easily copy a MECC disk on-metal such that it has a "stock" DOS 3.3?

Well not sure I understand the disk on-metal part. Copy By Zeb
deprotects all the 5.25 disks automaticly. Just use the single side
even it is 2 sides. Not sure if that makes it a modifed Dos or not. It
can be cataloged on copy II+ just like and normal disk.

Take Care.

That's exactly what I want to do: make it so it can be cataloged normally, then use master create on it or such.

Although it is nice to have a program use a standard DOS,
it is sufficient for imaging that it is in standard 16-sector
format, hopefully with an irrelevant volume number.
