You just gotta keep your eyes open. System Saver IIGS-es show up on
Ebay once in a while - that's where I got mine last year. In fact, I
seem to recall seeing one just last week.
My GS has a ZipGSX, a SuperDrive Controller, a CFFA, an Uthernet card,
and a 4Meg ramcard, and after it's been running a while, the
temperature of the exhausted air from the System Saver is fairly warm.
I'd say it's doing its job properly.
I'd start checking ebay regularly for one of these if you're at all
concerned about temps. It forms a pretty good seal with the top of the
GS, so it's sucking a lot of heat out from deep in the machine, yet it
manages to look like a part of the system in the process, as if Apple
designed it.
