With a little bit of fiddling, you could even use the SHR screen
instead.  Even from Applesoft.  There are ampersand utitlities that are
helpful for this or you could just use GSoft BASIC instead.

I just tried it again to be sure but yes, this works.  If you boot into
GS/OS and then launch BASIC.SYSTEM, you can type something like "-TEACH"
and it will exit BASIC.SYSTEM and execute the S16 application.  Quitting
from that application will take you back to you GS/OS launcher.
