2007-Practical Way to Get Files to IIGS?

I need to get files and etc onto my IIGS. I've waited and hunted
around for a SCSI card somewhere (anywhere) so I could get a CDROM
drive - the plan was that all the stuff I downloaded on my Windows PCs
could be burned to a CD and I could copy to the IIGS and unShrinkit
from there. But it's been 9+ months and no luck.

Sooo...

What are the practical/inexpensive/easy options? Or should I just
shoot for 2 out of 3 options? I probably have 300 mb of stuff that I'd
like to copy to the IIGS local storage (make into 800mb disks or copy
to the CF card drive). I'm hoping someone will say "I have a SCSI card
here for cheap", but I'm not hopeful about that <grin/>. I don't think
a serial transfer would be good because of the content size. I don't
think popping the CF card our would be good because I don't have a CF
reader for the PC and I'm afraid I'd break the CF card in the IIGS.

Hmmm.....
