The short answer: probably. Essentially Willi hacked the PPM so it
would recognise a SmartPort device rather than just the ProFile. It
works nicely. I tested it on a SuperDrive and both Apple SCSI cards,
and would assume it will also work OK on a CMS SCSI.

A Google Search of the group will provide more info.

I now use this in concert with a Slinky card, which combined with some
block copy trickery allows me to boot Pascal 1.2 directly from my
ProSEL menu, and reassign one of the 'ProFile' volumes as the primary
device.

Unfortunately it won't work with 1.3, but since the only real
advantage of 1.3 is accessing 3.5" disks, I don't really miss it much.

I hear ya :-) I had the same issues.
