How does one install System 6.0.1 on a CF or Hard drive, and keep the
Apple-Talk options from not installing??
I did a customized install and left out all of the PRINTERS and
NETWORK files, yet still the apple-talk neg pop's up when starting GS/
OS and also I noticed that the "network printer" icon is also in the
GUI control panel inside of GS/OS.
Anyone have an idea as to why this happens and how to install GS/OS
without Apple-Talk. I don't think I will ever have a need for apple-
Talk---although I could be mistaken...I don't own any other apples nor
macs.
If I wanted to network them, I would put them on my network router
with direct Ethernet connections---Hence why I bought the uthercard to
gain high speed net access and ditch my Hayes 2400 modem..
So, if anyone knows why this happens, and/or how to resolve this
issue, please let me know.
Also, does anyone know what Tool does?? I was given it a long time
ago, but the disk was damaged and I can't find the file...I am
wondering if that fixes this situation.
