I think there is an option on the install disks.. if not, just delete
the appletalk
files...

TOOLXXX are numbered "tools" that are part of the operating system.
Some tools are stored in ROM, some loaded from disk. The collection
of tools is called the "toolbox". If the disk was damaged, I imagine
a
TOOL's filename got messed up. It probably started out as TOOL034
or some other number..
I think there was a thread here not long ago about installing sys 6 w/
o
appletalk. You might want to try google search in this group, and
sort
by DATE instead of relevance...
